Signature Spring Cocktails at The Imperial Hotel Guernsey

Now that Spring has officially arrived and the sun has begun to shine, we spent a Friday afternoon with our friends at The Imperial Hotel on the idyllic West Coast of Guernsey to try some of their new Blue Bottle Gin signature cocktails.

GRANNY’S CANDIES

  • 20 ml Blue Bottle gin
  • 35 ml liquor de violette
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • 25 ml lavender infused syrup
  • 10 ml egg white
  • Dashes of Aztec chocolate bitters
    PREP: shake all ingredients with a tiny amount of ice to create the foam and pour In a small martini glass with a strainer
    Garnish with micro herbs

HIPSTER G&T

  • 30 Blue Bottle gin
  • 15 ml martini rosso
  • 15 ml Campari bitter
  • 5 ml agave nectare
  • Fever Tree mediterranian tonic
  • Dashes of angostura bitters
    PREP: pour all the ingredients in a large gin glass, stir for 30 sec and top up with the tonic water
    Garnish with a long pink grapefruit peel and a slice of lime

EASY DRINKIN’ (New on the menu!)

  • 2 slices of pink grapefruit
  • 2 teaspoons of home made vanilla sugar
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 25 ml Blue Bottle gin
  • 15 ml Amaretto Disaronno
  • 35 ml fresh pink grapefruit juice
    PREP: muddle the pink grapefruit, sugar and rosemary, add crushed ice and the rest of the ingredients and mix well everything
    Garnish with a ping grapefruit slice and a rosemary sprig
